This is a 12 ft. long, Python™ VGA to 3 RCA component video breakout cable with gold plated connectors. This cable is made of three shielded coaxial video cables wrapped together with a flexible ivory PVC jacket. One end has a 15 pin (HD15) male VGA type plug, and the other end has three, color coded male RCA plugs. This cable is used to connect the component video (Y-Pb-Pr or Y-Cb-Cr) output of a DVD player or HDTV receiver to a projector or plasma TV that can accept the same component video signal through a 15 pin VGA type port. Please note that this cable will not convert the video signal from one type to another. Both devices must be compatible with the same signal. Do not assume that this cable will work just because you have a VGA port (ie. you can't use this cable to connect your PC to a device that only accepts component video, since PCs do not output component video). THIS CABLE DOES NOT WORK WITH PC's OR COMPUTER MONITORS.
